Their parentage is a Peasgood Nonsuch and Ribston Pippin which are two apples we have growing on that very same row in our orchard. These were raised in the late 1800s in the U.K. and named after a vicar in Surrey who served for a time as the Secretary of the London Royal Horticultural Society.  Spur bearing. Medium sized crops. Tends biennial.
