Cider pressing experiences take place on Saturdays.

Want to press your own cider? Looking to take at least a couple of gallons home? Want to have active involvement and a hands on experience with the product you are purchasing? A cider pressing experience might be for you.

Best for small groups or families of 8 or fewer. Great for those looking for a physically active cider pressing experience. Fun to do with your family or a group of friends. Great local farm experience. Lightly supervised by our staff. You take home all the cider that you press.

Cider pressing experience is $30 per ~20lb bin of apples and includes:

• Brief instructions on using the cider press

• Check-ins and some assistance from staff

• Use of our equipment: traditional cider press, apple grinder, cider press cloths, bowls, funnels…

• Press and equipment is cleaned and sanitized before your arrival

• Additional bins of apples can be purchased at $30 each. ~20lbs will yield around 2 gallons+/- of fresh cider. Each bin is a variety of 2nds quality (some aesthetic defects, light damage, scarring, but PERFECT for cider!) that we have sorted from our own harvest.

• You take all your pressed cider home with you!

• Bring your own jugs/jars, or purchase plastic gallon jugs from us at $1/each

• There is a $15 customization fee if you are a hard cider hobbyist who needs a customized blend with cider bitters for home fermentation. In this case, we will need to know exactly how many 20lb bins you want ahead of time and the % of bitters you are hoping to achieve. Customization is optional.

• $15 non-refundable booking deposit is due at time of reservation

Cider pressing for small groups is available on Saturdays at 10:00am or 2pm. If there is a date/time slot missing it is because we are unavailable that day or it has already been booked. Please select the date and time slot that works best for your group. These options are available on a first-come first-serve basis with form submission and payment of a $15 non-refundable deposit.* 

$15 non-refundable deposit fee* is due at time of checkout. Once we have received your booking and deposit, we will confirm your booking via email.

All remaining payments are due the day of your booking upon completion of your experience. We will calculate your remainder due after pressing. Total due will include the # of bins you used, # of jugs purchased from us, and customization fee (if applicable), minus your initial $15 deposit.

*Deposits help us to guard against no-shows and last-minute cancellations. This fee covers our time and expenses for prepping and sanitizing the cider press prior to your arrival. If you show, that fee is worked into your total price. If you are a no-show, this fee helps recuperate the costs of our time and resources.
